DuraLite® Metal Belting
By Cambridge
Tired of choosing between a risky under performing belt
and one that is not cost efficient?
At last, a metal spiral cage belt that offers you an option!
- Greater carrying capacity
Twice as strong as rod only belts, 35% stronger than standard 1" x 1" belts.
- Improved efficiency -
Unique 3" x 1-1/3" interior mesh chills and freezes foods faster by improving air circulation and drainage.
- Stronger yet lighter weight -
Up to 40% lighter means less wear on the belt and cage components greatly reducing potential debris and saving energy.
- Easy to clean & food safe -
Made from stainless steel, the 3" x 1-1/3" interior mesh provides twice the open area of modular plastic belts.
DuraLite® metal belting for spiral cage applications is 35% stronger than conventional 1”x1” belts, while being up to 40% lower weight. The unique 3”x1-1/3” interior mesh design provides for twice the open area of modular plastic belts. Enhanced air circulation and drainage improves cooling and freezing efficiency. The stronger-yet-lighter-weight construction also saves on energy costs, while exerting less wear on the belt and spiral cage components. Made from heavy duty wear resistant stainless steel DuraLite™ belting is food safe and, unlike plastic belting carries no fire or safety concerns. Ideally suited for all spiral cage applications, one style of belt works for all cage systems. Turn ratios range from 1.0 to 2.8.

Belt Turning Radius
DuraLite spiral system belts are available for cages with turning ratios from 1.0 – 2.8
Nominal inside turning radius is dependent on the reinforcing bar construction on the inside edge of the belt. Contact Cambridge Engineering for turn radii greater than 2.80 x the belt width.
